Which methods should you learn first?
Almost every method is a strand, a weft or a tape. Here is how to choose.
Hair extension names can sound like a code. Underneath, almost every method falls into one of three families.
Strands
Small bundles fitted one at a time, using a ring, a bond or a tube. Fitting takes longer, and the result moves freely and looks natural.
Wefts
A band of hair attached in rows, which gives a lot of volume quickly.
Tapes
Thin wefts with an adhesive strip that lie flat against the head.
How to choose
Think about your clients. Fine hair often suits small strands or flat tapes. Clients who want volume may prefer a weft. A course that teaches three methods, as the provider says its Edinburgh course does, gives you a choice to offer.
Read the guide on the home page and ask on WhatsApp which methods are taught on the date you want.
